	How the System Works... As illustrated below, the transceiver base station establishes a point to which the transceiver on your dog's collar constantly communicates the distance.  The base station compares the dog's distance to a maximum distance defined by you during the unit's initial setup (from 10 to 200 feet).  As your dog approaches this limit, a warning beep is issued by the collar.   During the training period, you dog will learn that the beep means to "go no further"; otherwise an electrical shock (which you can control the level) will occur.  Thus, you dog will honor this limit. The base station constantly displays the distance to your dog - so you always know where your dog is.  If your dog challenges the boundary, the base station lets you know.  Furthermore, if the base station looses contact with your dog for any reason, an alarm will sound.  This feature lets you know that a jail break has occurred! Another desirable feature of this system is that your dog is not punished when he/she reenters the safety zone after leaving it.  Traditional electronic fences will.  Thus, the Wireless WiFi will not punish your dog for the "good" behaviour of returning home.
