Tropic Shower Installation & Use
1. The Tropic Shower is intended to be installed on the same hot and cold water spigots found by your washing machine. Typically, there is a cold water valve and a hot water valve, both of which use a standard garden hose threaded outlet.
2. Turn off the hot and cold water valves and temporarily disconnect the supply hoses going to your washing machine. You might want to label which hose is the hot water supply and which hose is the cold water supply.
3. Connect the Tropic Shower hot water “Y” fitting to the hot water valve using the black knurled fitting (see photo). Connect the Tropic Shower cold water “Y” fitting to the cold water valve in a similar manner. Make sure both fittings are tight and snug.
4. Reconnect the hot water supply hose to your washing machine on the Tropic Shower hot water “Y” fitting (see photo). Reconnect the cold water supply hose to your washing machine in a similar manner.
5. Make sure the union valve on the Tropic Shower is closed and in the “off” position. Turn on both the hot and cold water valves and check for leaks.
6. You can connect a standard garden hose to the Tropic Shower. On the other end of the hose, connect the fan nozzle. On the first use, adjust the amount of hot water by adjusting the small valve on the Tropic Shower hot water “Y” connector. Once you find the appropriate setting, you will not have to adjust it for future use.
