Farmers are a tough sell...This is the waterer they buy for their barns and parlors. This style of automatic waterer is popular for providing continuous fresh water to horses, cattle, small livestock and dogs. Constructed from heavy gauge, prime draw steel. Available in galvanized or black-coated finish. The waterer can be easily installed at any height using lag bolts or U bolts (not included). Will fit a standard 1/2-inch pipe with a left or right connection. To use this waterer with a hose, purchase the optional adapter kit (below) or the required fittings at a hardware or plumbing supply store. Size is 10”L x 10-3/4”H x 5-1/2”H. Bowl capacity is about 3 quarts. Made in USA. To connect the Automatic Waterer to any standard garden hose, order the optional Hose Adapter Kit. The kit provides the fittings and washer necessary to convert the 1/2" pipe nipple on the Automatic Waterer to a standard, female garden hose fitting. Two styles to choose from. With the straight adaptor kit your garden hose goes straight away from the side of the waterer. With the elbow adaptor kit you garden hose can connect to from the rear of the waterer.
