Use this drinker to water horses, calves and wildlife. Can be used in stalls,
corrals and paddocks. The rugged, foam filled drinker delivers about 2-1/2
gallons per minute with a simple water level adjustment. Easy to clean.
Stainless steel access plate provides easy access to anti siphoning valve and
valve heater. Notched flanges can be used for anchoring drinker. The optional
heater is very efficient; heating cost is less than $10.00 per heating season.
The manufacturer has tested this drinker at minus 30-degrees F and no freezing
occurred – even after 7 days! Incoming water supply line is connected to the
bottom of the unit and is not accessible to livestock. You do need proper
installation to prevent supply line underneath the drinker from freezing, so
follow installation instructions carefully. For this purpose, we recommend using
the HS-SOK17 Shutoff and Drain Kit. Valve and heater has 18 month
manufacturer’s unconditional warranty; other components have a 5 year
unconditional warranty. Made in USA. Heater is 250 watts, 110 volts.
