| This de-icer is designed to mount through the drain hole in metal or plastic stock tanks with a ¾-inch drain plug. By mounting through the dain hole, the electrical cord is kept out of the water and the de-icer cannot be thrown from the tank. Each de-icer comes with a built-in thermostat and six-foot power cord. The power plug is a reduced size and does not require the cord to separate to fit through the drain hole. The de-icer also features adjustable supports to keep the heating element off the bottom of the tank. 1500 watts, 120 volts. Patent pending. Made in USA. |
